The Comments Section (A Stand-up Comedy Show)

Wed 30 Sep · 6:00 PM Cafe Saint-Ex · U Street Corridor

The comments section is the best part of the article! At this show comics write comments about each other's sets. The funniest ones get read The comments section is the best part of most articles. That's why we've anthropomorphized it into a comedy show! In this show, a comic does their set, while 4 comic commentators write comments on comment cards. Then, the host reads the funniest out as our comic sits on the stool taking trolling. The stand-up will be hilarious, but the real show starts once it’s finished. You'll get to see into the unholy minds of some of DC's best comics, kibitz in real-time as they burn, bully and tag each other, and (hopefully) experience some organic moments and found comedy. The Comments Section - Every Wednesday at 7pm - Capitol Cider House

Welcome to AskAlice

Hi, I'm Alice.

I go out a lot around DC, Virginia and Maryland, and I got tired of losing hours to Instagram Stories and a dozen venue calendars just to find out what was happening. So I built this to do that watching for me — real, confirmed events pulled from hundreds of sources, sorted so you can find your night instead of hunting for it.
