Thurston Howell - Your Premier Yacht Rock Spectacular
Fri, Feb 19 · 8:30 PM State Theatre
Prepare yourself to escape with your Pina colada on a musical escapade that whisks you away on a nostalgic odyssey through the smoothest soft rock hits of the 70s and 80s, a time of tube socks with colored stripes, Big wheels and weeble wobbles, bicycles with banana seats, and kitchen phones with 20 foot curly cords. Get ready to set sail with Thurston Howell – Your Premier Yacht Rock Spectacular! This crew has been bringing the smooth sounds of yacht rock to ports along the East Coast — from the rocky, lobster-scented docks of Bar Harbor, Maine, all the way down to the sun-soaked, palm-lined marinas of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Every harbor. Every sunset cruise. Every deck party in between. They were there. They were cool. They showed up with 100% pure uncut yacht rock…Thurston Howell...because you can’t fake smooth!
