Goose Creek Players: A Christmas Story

Fri, Dec 4 Franklin Park Arts Center

Step into the nostalgic world of holiday magic, childhood dreams, and laugh-out-loud family fun with A Christmas Story , brought to life on stage by Goose Creek Players, Inc. Based on the beloved holiday classic, A Christmas Story follows nine-year-old Ralphie Parker on his quest for the ultimate Christmas gift: an official Red Ryder BB gun. But between his mother’s warnings that he’ll “shoot his eye out,” his father’s hilarious battles with the family furnace, a department store Santa, and the unforgettable leg lamp, Ralphie’s Christmas adventure is anything but ordinary. Filled with memorable characters, heartwarming moments, and plenty of holiday hilarity, this charming stage adaptation captures the wonder, excitement, and occasional chaos of Christmas through the eyes of a child. This is a rental performance presented by Goose Creek Players Inc, a Loudoun community theater group. Friday, December 4 at 7:30 pm Saturday, December 5 at 2:00pm and 7:30pm Sunday, December 6 at 2:00pm CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE TICKETS

Welcome to AskAlice

Hi, I'm Alice.

I go out a lot around DC, Virginia and Maryland, and I got tired of losing hours to Instagram Stories and a dozen venue calendars just to find out what was happening. So I built this to do that watching for me — real, confirmed events pulled from hundreds of sources, sorted so you can find your night instead of hunting for it.
