Boxwood Winery “Easy as Pie” Wine Pairing Event

Boxwood Winery is teaming up with award-winning Red Truck Bakery for a festive afternoon of wine and pie pairings on Saturday, November 14, from noon to 2 p.m. Set against the scenic backdrop of Virginia’s wine and horse country, the “Easy as Pie Wine Pairing Event” will take place at Boxwood Winery (2042 Burrland Lane, Middleburg). The event will feature four holiday-inspired sweet and savory creations from Red Truck Bakery, each thoughtfully paired with one of Boxwood’s award-winning wines. Guests will discover how the perfect wine pairing can enhance flavors and elevate the dining experience. The tasting menu begins with an Almond Frangipane Tartlet with Apricot Preserves paired with Boxwood’s Cupola 2025, a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris. A savory Butternut Squash Quiche will be paired with Boxwood’s Rosé 2025, followed by a Virginia Country Ham Quiche complemented by Trellis 2021, a red blend. The experience concludes on a sweet note with a Dark Chocolate Ganache Tartlet with Raspberry Jam paired with Topiary 2023, another of Boxwood’s signature red blends.
