Classes will meet at The Festival Center in Adams Morgan. Thursdays, January 7 - January 28, 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Graduation show at the DC Improv on Monday, February 1 at 7:30 p.m. This class is an introduction to the core ideas behind sketch comedy; no prior experience required. You’ll learn every part of the sketch process, from generating ideas and writing sketches to rehearsing and performing them on stage. Through guided exercises and collaborative writing, you’ll explore how sketches are built, what makes ideas funny, and how characters, patterns, and point of view drive comedy. By the end of the class, students will have created original sketches that will be performed in a final showcase. Welcome to AskAlice

Hi, I'm Alice.

I go out a lot around DC, Virginia and Maryland, and I got tired of losing hours to Instagram Stories and a dozen venue calendars just to find out what was happening. So I built this to do that watching for me — real, confirmed events pulled from hundreds of sources, sorted so you can find your night instead of hunting for it.
