Piano Karaoke with Dan Neustadt
Sat 24 Oct · 8:00 PM Sid Gold's Request Room · Union Market
How it works: Check out Dan’s song list and make a request! (And don’t forget to tip) Dan Neustadt (The Hold Steady, World/Inferno Friendship Society, Northern Bells) is a keyboardist, singer-songwriter, arranger, and former musical director (also an attorney!). Like Sid Gold’s co-founder Joe McGinty, Dan is also an alum of the Manhattan Inn and its white baby grand, where he played stride-piano covers of indie rock singles. Dan’s also the creator of Off The Record , a NYC and DC concert series featuring “cover-to-cover” instrumentals of seminal rock albums performed by a rotating cast of touring sidemen. Promoted as “Dan Neustadt Plays Your Favorite Albums By Your Favorite Bands,” a press listing once quipped, “No, he’s not kidding.” Come sing your favorite songs with Dan!
