Fall Wellness Hike to Bear's Den

Sun, Nov 8 · 2:00 PM Bear's Den Scenic Lookout

https://myhikes.org/trails/bears-den-overlook-hike Join us for a Fall Wellness Hike to Bear’s Den Overlook and spend an afternoon moving, connecting, and taking in the beauty of the season! This short, easy out-and-back hike follows the Appalachian Trail and climbs a gentle 280 feet before reaching Bear’s Den Overlook, where we’ll be rewarded with beautiful westward views. It’s a great opportunity to get outside, enjoy some fresh air, meet new people, and recharge in nature. What to bring: Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather and sturdy walking or hiking shoes with good traction, as the trail may be rocky or uneven in places. Dress in layers so you can adjust as we warm up along the way, and be sure to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. A small backpack, sunscreen, and hat are also helpful. All are welcome—come hike with us and enjoy a little movement, nature, connection, and community.

Welcome to AskAlice

Hi, I'm Alice.

I go out a lot around DC, Virginia and Maryland, and I got tired of losing hours to Instagram Stories and a dozen venue calendars just to find out what was happening. So I built this to do that watching for me — real, confirmed events pulled from hundreds of sources, sorted so you can find your night instead of hunting for it.
