Patricia Green Willamette Rarities

Here's a treat! Four Willamette Valley wines that you'd normally have to travel to Oregon to taste! Normally you’d have to fly out to Oregon, drive into the Willamette Valley, and visit Patricia Green Cellars to taste these wines. But one of the advantages of a long-term relationship with Jim Anderson, owner/winemaker at PGC, is that sometimes you get a special treat. That’s what happened here as we’re showing off four great Patricia Green wines that normally don’t go to distribution at all. And since our tasting Friday from 3-7pm is free, it’s a lot more economical than traveling all the way to Oregon! Join us as we pour: Wolfberger Cremant d'Alsace Chardonnay Extra Bru t – Nope, not from PGC or even the USA, but a delicious warm-up sparkler and preview of Saturday’s huge value festival! Patricia Green Sauvignon Blanc Croft Vyd 2025 - Two cases available. Made famous by Jay Somers as one of the best sites in Oregon for Sauvignon Blanc (with PG Estate), there are just 300 cases of Jim’s Croft Vyd SB. Snappy, fresh and crisp. Patricia Green Sauvignon Blanc Estate Vyd 2025 – As Vinous says, “"Easily one of the best interpretations of Sauvignon Blanc from the Pacific Northwest.” And JebDunnuck.com adds in the 96 point rave, “reveals tropical fruit, fennel, tarragon, and impressive density without weight.” Patricia Green Pinot Noir Balcolmbe Vyd 1B Block 2022 – Jim says this is the most popular wine PGC makes and allocating it is the entire reason they started their wine club! As the 96 point review says, “has a good deal of intensity and a more noble structure, with a sanguine, lightly gamey earth note through the finish.” Patricia Green Pinot Noir La Belle Promenade Wadenswil Clone 2023 – From a swath of vines running across this beautiful site, it’s dark, intense, and very long. The 96 point critical praise is spot on. As usual, during the tasting the wines are all on sale and you can mix/match your way to our best case/six-bottle or more savings. We’ll have some treats from the cheese case to enjoy with the wines and plenty of great information on what makes each bottle so special. And “special” is very much what this free Friday tasting is all about. Come on down and taste for yourself!
