The Arlington Concert Band will perform a star-spangled evening to celebrate America's 250th birthday! Selections will feature American composers along with a few interesting twists on patriotic favorites. Selections include Fanfare for the Common Man (Aaron Copeland), Simple Gifts (Frank Tichelli), Variations on America, Casey at the Bat, Yankee Doodle, Porgy and Bess (George Gershwin), and Stars and Stripes Forever (John Philip Sousa). The Arlington Concert Band (ACB), a program of Arlington Community Learning in Arlington, Virginia, is a non-profit wind ensemble made up of more than 70 professional music educators and dedicated, talented amateur musicians. We perform regularly throughout the community and play an assortment of music including marches, show tunes, and classical arrangements.

Welcome to AskAlice

Hi, I'm Alice.

I go out a lot around DC, Virginia and Maryland, and I got tired of losing hours to Instagram Stories and a dozen venue calendars just to find out what was happening. So I built this to do that watching for me — real, confirmed events pulled from hundreds of sources, sorted so you can find your night instead of hunting for it.
