His warm baritone voice and his solid guitar playing anchor his casual and appealing performance style that draws in an audience and makes them feel like friends. His 2025 album Ghosts and the follow-up EP La Ciudad Del Sol have been played extensively on folk radio across the US and beyond. Mike’s sound takes its inspiration from the music he grew up with -- The Byrds, Jackson Browne, Carole King, and Bakersfield heroes like Merle Haggard. After many years of part-time dabbling in music, Mike left acareer at a California university to dedicate himself to the craft of songwriting and performing.
