2026 American Foreign Service Association Awards Ceremony

Join us to celebrate Lifetime Contributions to American Diplomacy, exemplary performance, and constructive dissent within the Foreign Service community. The ceremony is dedicated to honoring the exceptional achievements and unwavering dedication of members of the Foreign Service community. At the ceremony, AFSA will proudly present 9 awards to 11 remarkable recipients. (https://afsa.org/awards-and-honors)Lifetime Contributions to American Diplomacy: Ambassador William J. Burns Foreign Service Champions: The Federal-Postal Coalition AFSA's Constructive Dissent awards, which honor Foreign Service members who have courageously worked within the system toward positive changes in policy AFSA's Exemplary Performance awards, which showcases the professionalism, dedication, and volunteerism that define the spirit of the Foreign Service community Join us in celebrating this year's recipients and their commitment to our nation's diplomacy. Space is limited. Students may attend the ceremony for free on a first come, first served basis with a valid Georgetown student ID. For all other guests, preregistration is required.
