Rock Creek Park Southern Loop — 6 Mile Hike

Join us for a moderate 6-mile loop through Rock Creek Park with approximately 740 feet of elevation gain. Starting at the Rock Creek Park Nature Center, we will travel south past Pierce Mill and the Pierce-Klingle Mansion, returning along the Valley Trail past Pulpit Rock and Boulder Bridge. Expect wooded trails, uneven terrain, exposed roots, and several moderate climbs. The planned hiking pace is 2.0–2.5 miles per hour, with an estimated duration of 3–3.5 hours.
