Olive Harvest Festival

Sat 17 Oct · 12:00 PM Jerusalem Fund · Foggy Bottom

Join us on October 17, 12-5pm for a day of Palestinian music, exhibits, performances, & children's activities at our Olive Harvest Festival! The festival will feature a choir singing traditional Palestinian folk songs, children's storytime and other activities, a souq market, a debka performance, a poetry performance, an exhibit of the festival we have hosted at The Jerusalem Fund since 1977, and more traditional Olive Harvest activities. Historically, TJF has welcomed our community and hosted one of the first Olive Harvest Festival's in the Washington, DC area as the oldest Palestine center. We will spend the day rooting ourselves in the traditions our people on the ground in Palestine have celebrated for generations.

Welcome to AskAlice

Hi, I'm Alice.

I go out a lot around DC, Virginia and Maryland, and I got tired of losing hours to Instagram Stories and a dozen venue calendars just to find out what was happening. So I built this to do that watching for me — real, confirmed events pulled from hundreds of sources, sorted so you can find your night instead of hunting for it.
