WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO THRIVE? Our bodies are not battlegrounds. Our healthcare is not up for debate. We all deserve the freedom, knowledge, care, and resources to live fully and thrive. Join Menopunks for a participatory public action connecting hormonal health, reproductive justice, and bodily autonomy. Through music, collective art, community voices, and a public reading of the Hormonal Bill of Rights, we’ll make our demands visible, take up space together, and imagine a world where everyone has the right to thrive. This isn’t just a rally. It’s a collective act of creation, solidarity, and resistance. JUST ADDED: DC ACTIVIST STREET BAND will be performing! WHAT TO EXPECT Music, chants, and collective energy to bring us together. The Hormonal Bill of Rights: a public reading of ten Articles affirming our rights to hormonal healthcare, reproductive freedom, and bodily autonomy. Collective art-making: add your voice to our community scroll by sharing what thriving means to you. Community voices: hear from local organizers and people working for reproductive justice and healthcare access. A joyful march: carry our message into the streets as we make our way together to the Black Cat. THE MARCH CONTINUES! After the Thrive-In, we’ll march to the Black Cat for a Menopunks show featuring Heavens to Betsy and Calamity Jane. Come for the action, stay for the music, and help build a movement that refuses to give up on our right to thrive. Please check the Black Cat’s event details for show admission and ticket information. WHO IS THIS FOR? Everyone who believes we deserve bodily autonomy, accessible healthcare, reproductive freedom, and the right to live fully. All genders and identities are welcome. You don’t need to be an expert, an activist, or a Menopunks regular to participate. Bring your voice, your creativity, your rage, your hope—or simply your presence. Come as you are. Bring a friend.
