Financial Dialogue – The Future of Digital Money A Transatlantic Conversation

The German Embassy's Financial Dialogue series presents "The Future of Digital Money: A Transatlantic Conversation." This event brings together U.S. and European perspectives to discuss how stablecoins, the Digital Euro, and new payment solutions are reshaping the financial landscape. The program begins with welcome remarks from Jean P. Froehly, Minister, Head of the Economic and Financial Department, followed by keynote remarks from Anja von Rosenstiel, Lecturer at Boston University School of Law. A panel discussion titled "Stablecoins, the Digital Euro and the New Financial Architecture" will feature experts such as Kyle S. Hauptman from the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, Esther Wandel from Deutsche Bundesbank, Andrew Gallucci from Circle, Ralf Müller from the European Payments Initiative, and Allison Behuniak from the Committee on Financial Services, House of Representatives. The discussion will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Roman Beck of Bentley University and Anja von Rosenstiel. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session after the panel. The event concludes with a reception, offering a chance for further networking and discussion. This dialogue aims to explore innovation, regulation, resilience, and monetary sovereignty in the evolving world of digital finance.
