MoCA on the Move at Met Park: Fall Family Days!

Fall days are made for art in the park! Enjoy live music, hands-on art, games, and more. New activities and musicians each week. For the whole family. For all ages. FREE! Line Up of Activities, Artists, and Music: • September 13: Artist Spotlight: Zhenya Parish - Abstract Painting// contribute to a group painting and make small piece on canvas to take home and enjoy. Music from Rook Richards • September 20: DIY Stamps + Stationery // make stamps with simple materials then print them on cards and envelopes. Music from The String Mamas • September 27: Artist Spotlight: Shaylin Wallace - Doodles on Paper + Beyond! // color in doodle on stickers, paper, and beyond! Music from Caleb Hacker • October 4: DIY Crafting - Fall Charm Bar // make a custom keychain, bracelet, waterbottle handle, and more! Music from Luke James Shaffer • October 11: No Event Today // see you next week!! • October 18: "Build-a-Gnome" Doll Making// no sewing required to create a gnome all your own! Music from Sean Tracy • October 25: Artist Spotlight: David Amoroso -- Calavara Masks // color and bedazzle a mask in honor of Día de los Muertos. Music from Duck Chuck Goose Plus, vendor Otterly Artistic Events, will be onsite each week with gorgeous facepainting and glitter tattoos! --- Please note: in the event of rain, this programming will be hosted indoors, at MoCA Arlington's Innovation Studio + Store (525 14th Street South Arlington, VA 22202)
