Tuesday November 17 * doors at 6:30, show at 7 * $10-20 * TICKETS D. Davis (DC, singer-songwriter) Sun V Set (Richmond) is a contemporary folk project that has both an ethereal sound and a grounded nostalgia reminiscent of 70s folk. Self-described as “mystical and meandering folk”, their sound is characterized by dreamy vocals and lilting melodies over rhythmic acoustic guitar. Much of Sun V Set 's writing is nature-inspired with a mythic twist, crafting an experience through otherworldly-storytelling that is equal parts moon-veiled and honey-sweet. The result is music that is distinct and captivating while accessible to all listeners. Vanessa Wills (DC, singer-songwriter)
