Guard Out of Our Schools & Communities Teach-In

Thu, Oct 29 · 8:00 PM DC

Since the start of the school year armed National Guard soldiers together with federal law enforcement agents have been patrolling near DC schools, including Wheatley Education Campus in Ward 5, Bruce-Monroe Elementary School in Ward 1, and Bard Early College High School in Ward 8. The presence of these federal forces endangers students, school families, and staff. Education leaders have made it repeatedly clear their presence is unjustified, unwanted, and harmful. Tune-in to this mass teach-in to learn WHY the National Guard needs to get out of our schools and communities and HOW we are going to mobilize to do just that.

Welcome to AskAlice

Hi, I'm Alice.

I go out a lot around DC, Virginia and Maryland, and I got tired of losing hours to Instagram Stories and a dozen venue calendars just to find out what was happening. So I built this to do that watching for me — real, confirmed events pulled from hundreds of sources, sorted so you can find your night instead of hunting for it.
