Tech Safety Party
Wed, Oct 28 · 6:30 PM DC
Keeping our digital spaces secure is part of how we build strong movements. Join Free DC and the DMV Tech Workers Coalition to hang out, eat food, and learn how to keep your digital self safe while organizing! We will run a hands-on workshop to go through the “activist’s checklist” and practice securing your device – just bring your phone, and we’ll help with the rest. Along the way, we’ll get into the “why” of each safety tip and how to assess your own risks to move confidently through the digital world. We'll have music, food, and trivia as we work together to stay safe online! This event is part of Free DC’s Safety Series, a set of workshops designed to help protect our supporters and DC communities. Register Below! Register
