Herb Scott

Sat, Nov 14 · 8:00 PM Mr. Henry's · Eastern Market

“Herb Scott is a young, soulful powerhouse on alto saxophone. As a bandleader, his style often veers into the over-sweetened terrain of smooth jazz, but no matter what he plays, his fleetness and conviction are undeniable.” – Capitol Bop D.C. While studying at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts under the award-winning educator Davey Yarborough, he performed with renowned trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and Jazz pianist Herbie Hancock. Welcome to AskAlice

Hi, I'm Alice.

I go out a lot around DC, Virginia and Maryland, and I got tired of losing hours to Instagram Stories and a dozen venue calendars just to find out what was happening. So I built this to do that watching for me — real, confirmed events pulled from hundreds of sources, sorted so you can find your night instead of hunting for it.
