“On Our Own” Reception

Sun 8 Nov · 3:00 PM Reston Community Center

Multi-media Works by Reston Community Center Art Lab artists A great opportunity to view an exhibit that highlights the diversity, quality and fun of Reston Community Center’s Art Lab community is coming this fall. From Tuesday, October 20 to Monday, November 30, Art Lab artists who participated in 2025 and/or 2026 will have the RCC Hunters Woods Gallery to themselves. With mediums from acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, collage, oil pastel and more, these artists will also share a few words about why being a part of Art Lab at Reston Community Center Lake Anne has been so meaningful. Pauline Daniels, who works with Art Lab artists, gave them this motivational shout-out, “Show it in the gallery and then on your wall at home or gift it to a friend or family. Pull pieces out of the closet or from under the bed. We need to fill the space so don’t be shy! You made it. Show it!” Join them for a celebratory party on Sunday, November 8 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the RCC Hunters Woods Gallery. Welcome to AskAlice

Hi, I'm Alice.

I go out a lot around DC, Virginia and Maryland, and I got tired of losing hours to Instagram Stories and a dozen venue calendars just to find out what was happening. So I built this to do that watching for me — real, confirmed events pulled from hundreds of sources, sorted so you can find your night instead of hunting for it.
