Michelle Hannan & One Blue Night: Listening Room Show at Clare & Don't Beach Shack

Michelle Hannan & One Blue Night, a WAMMIE-nominated band based out of Frederick, MD, is one the DC area’s fastest rising independent country bands. Michelle’s last album (Cheater’s Waltz) with her husband Jason Hannan and pedal steel guitarist Howard Parker, recently reached number 51 on the FAI Top Albums chart. Michelle & Jason can be heard on WFRE 99.9 Free Country, Sirius XM, and independent radio stations across America. Michelle & Jason are supported by the dynamic instrumental work of Howard Parker (pedal steel & resonator guitar), Dan Macon (bass), and David Lopez (drums). “Smartly capturing that old time country radio feel, this duo shows a lot more Texas in their music than a duo from Maryland should. A real gem of a set for anyone that wants a taste of some real country, there’s a lot of wonderful stuff going on here.“ - Midwest Record “‘If You Won’t Say It’s Over’ enters classic country territory in its precise execution as Michelle’s stirring singing is nothing short of breath taking.” - Take Effect Reviews “Michelle and Jason Hannan serve up a feel-good high point moment here in their concept album that takes various intriguing twists and turns. Enjoy the whole concept, but this one [Nothing Left to Lose] also stands on its own merits, with a country rock relatability and handwringing, honky tonk croons.” - Melissa Clarke, Americana Highways “This is an album that is best listened to in a single sitting. Spinning the songs on random will reveal some wonderful moments, but for full impact the album should be heard straight through. Country concept albums aren’t the norm, but the Hannans have pulled off a doozy. Enticing and ultimately bracing. Bravo!” - Jon Worley, Aiding & Abetting
