Curator Tour | Museum in the Making

Wed, Oct 7 · 12:00 PM National Museum of Asian Art · National Mall

Join curator Diana Greenwold for an exclusive tour of A Museum in the Making , an exhibition that tells the story of a bold experiment in art and design that still shapes our galleries today. Artists, architects, and designers transformed museum founder Charles Lang Freer’s Detroit home to display art in new ways. Learn how Freer’s collaborators harmonized frames, lighting, walls, windows, and even furniture to showcase masterpieces of American and Asian art. Please meet at gallery 8 for the tour. We recommend you register in advance . Welcome to AskAlice

Hi, I'm Alice.

I go out a lot around DC, Virginia and Maryland, and I got tired of losing hours to Instagram Stories and a dozen venue calendars just to find out what was happening. So I built this to do that watching for me — real, confirmed events pulled from hundreds of sources, sorted so you can find your night instead of hunting for it.
