DC residents, your 2026 Roll-Off Day Schedule has been announced! Have large items that need disposal? Come to a Roll Off Day near you. Hello Ward 1! DC residents are encouraged to bring their large, non-hazardous materials for disposal to the next Roll Off Day: Date: Saturday, Oct 24, 2026, from 10AM to 2PM Location: Marie Reed Rec Center, 2200 Champlain St NW, Washington, DC, 20009 ----------------------- The events are currently organized by the Mayor's Office of Community Relations and Services (MOCRS) and supported by DC DPW. Roll Off Days are free to attend. While pre-registration is not required, it is appreciated so that we can anticipate attendance. Call between 10am and 5pm, Monday-Friday. ----------------------- What is accepted at Roll Off Days • Household furniture • Old Clothing (that cannot be donated) • Toys that cannot be donated (e.g., broken kiddie pools, playhouses, disassembled swing sets) • Mattresses and box springs (MUST be wrapped in plastic) • Bed frames • Old rugs and carpets What is not accepted?
