Ars Populi

Sun, Feb 28 · 2:00 PM McLean Community Center

Sunday, Feb. 28, 2 p.m.  $20/$15/$10 All Ages   Ars Populi (Latin for ”art of the people”) is an a cappella ensemble that explores the interplay between art and folk music in an intimate setting. The name represents their view that singing is the most accessible, natural, and therefore democratic of all the musical arts, and as such, properly belongs to all humans. Their six unaccompanied voices bring purity and intricacy to Renaissance madrigals, Scottish Gaelic ballads, and even some modern standards.  This beautiful blend of harmony is poetry in motion. Welcome to AskAlice

Hi, I'm Alice.

I go out a lot around DC, Virginia and Maryland, and I got tired of losing hours to Instagram Stories and a dozen venue calendars just to find out what was happening. So I built this to do that watching for me — real, confirmed events pulled from hundreds of sources, sorted so you can find your night instead of hunting for it.
