Washington DC Lesbian, Bi, Trans & Queer+ Speed Dating

Tue, Oct 27 · 6:30 PM Spark Social · U Street Corridor

Meet Lesbian, Bi, Trans & Queer+ singles in Washington, DC through fun speed dating, great conversations, and meaningful new connections. At Washington, DC Lesbian, Bi, Trans & Queer+ Speed Dating, you'll enjoy: • A lively, well-hosted LBTQ+ speed dating event filled with laughter, flirting, and engaging one-on-one conversations. • Smart matching designed to help you meet the people you are most interested in connecting with. • Up to ten five-minute dates with singles who are genuinely interested in making a connection. • Your matches' contact information after the event, so the conversation doesn't have to end when the five minutes are up. Whether you're newly single, newly out, or simply ready to try something new, this Washington, DC speed dating event offers a fun, low-pressure way to meet queer singles face-to-face and see where the chemistry takes you. Q: Who is this event for? • A: This event is designed for lesbian, bisexual, trans, nonbinary, and queer+ people who want to connect, flirt, and see where things go. • This event is not for cisgender or gay men. Join us at one of our GBTQ+ events! • These events are proudly trans-welcoming. Kindness is required, respect is non-negotiable, and intolerance of any kind is a no-go. We ask everyone to honor names, pronouns, and identities so all attendees can feel comfortable being themselves. Anyone unable to do so may be asked to leave. • This is a 21+ event. Q: How does the matching software work? A: Before the event, you share your preferences, including your preferred age range and where your ideal date falls on the masculine-to-feminine spectrum. Our smart matching system then prioritizes speed dates with people who align with your preferences, creating a more intentional experience than traditional speed dating. While our technology can improve compatibility, it can't guarantee that every date will be your ideal type. Q: What happens during the speed dating event? A: You will have up to ten one-on-one conversations that last five minutes. After each date, you privately note whether you would like to connect again. Our easy-to-use matching software identifies mutual matches after the event. Q: What should I do after the event ends? A: Don't rush off! We encourage you to stay, grab a drink, mingle, and keep the conversations going. It's a great opportunity to reconnect with someone you clicked with and make new friends. Q: What if I am shy or new to dating events? A: You're in good company! Many guests are trying speed dating for the first time. The structured format helps take the pressure off because everyone is there for the same reason, and five-minute conversations make it easy to break the ice. A friendly host will guide you through the evening and make sure you feel comfortable and welcome from the moment you arrive. You don't need to be outgoing or experienced. Just show up and be yourself, and we'll take care of the rest. Q: Where can I find more Lesbian, Bi, Trans, Queer+ speed dating events? A: You can explore all of our upcoming events on our website: Little Gay Book LBTQ+ Speed Dating Events IMPORTANT: Please arrive by 6:55 PM ET. Late arrivals will not be permitted to participate in speed dating. Check-in begins at 6:30 PM ET. The event starts promptly at 7:00 PM ET and concludes at 9:00 PM ET. Welcome to AskAlice

Hi, I'm Alice.

I go out a lot around DC, Virginia and Maryland, and I got tired of losing hours to Instagram Stories and a dozen venue calendars just to find out what was happening. So I built this to do that watching for me — real, confirmed events pulled from hundreds of sources, sorted so you can find your night instead of hunting for it.
