A bike race, a cemetery tour and bands to raise money for a school bus in El Salvador on Halloween! Pupusa Party is back for our 3rd annual fundraiser. We host a bike race, fun ride and bands to raise money for education in El Salvador, this year on Halloween. This year we have a campaign to fund a school bus through Voices on the Border . Registration is $25 . Here is a bit about each part of the Pupusa Party Event: Fun Ride 2pm Female Union Band Society Cemetery : The Stories of Resistance Tour will take you to 4 cemeteries where you’ll learn stories of the Underground Railroad, a fierce homegrown singer, a DC educator and much more. Starting from the Female Union Band Society Cemetery in Georgetown and ending in Glenwood Cemetery in Edgewood, each stop on the ~9 mile ride will intrigue you with the stories of the departed buried here in DC. All ages. Ends at the Dew Drop Inn.
