Rock Creek Conservancy Weed Warrior Training Part 2 Saturday, October 3, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Join Rock Creek Conservancy and the National Park Service for our Weed Warrior training. This training equips individuals with the knowledge, skills, and techniques to support the management of invasive plants in our region. Please note that this is a two-part training. Individuals must successfully complete Part 1 and Part 2, and a site visit with Rock Creek Conservancy staff, to become certified Weed Warriors. Certified Weed Warriors are allowed to work independently in Rock Creek Conservancy’s mini-oases. For Part 1, you have the option of attending in person at the University of the District of Columbia or virtually via Zoom on September 30. Part 2 will take place in-person at the Fort Slocum Mini Oasis on October 3. Please ensure that you register for both parts of the training.
