Now Somebody, Anybody, Everybody Scream.
Wed, Sep 30 · 6:45 PM Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge
📍 Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge 🕡 Assemble at 6:45pm Adulting is HARD. Bills, emails, responsibilities, pretending you're fine... we're tired. So for one evening, we're officially opting out. 🙅🏾♀️ Welcome to the most unhinged self-care session of your life. Here's the plan: 7:05pm SHARP: We scream. Three screams, five seconds each. Not a polite little yelp. We're getting the WHOLE distraction out. The boss email, the situationship, the rent, that one group chat. All of it. Straight into the Anacostia. 🌊 7:07pm: Hug session + words of encouragement, because we're chaotic but we're also soft. 🫂 After: We head to the Thompson Hotel rooftop for drinks and new friends, and act completely normal like we didn't just scream off a bridge 20 minutes ago. 🍸🤭 📜 The Rules Only scream into the Anacostia. Not at tourists, not at cars, not at your friend. The Anacostia only. 🎒 What to Bring • Yourself • A friend • Tissues (no shame) • Every ounce of stress and frustration you've been carrying 🚗 Parking • Free: Anacostia Park • Paid: Street parking on Potomac Ave SE and 1st St SE Carpool with your scream buddy if you can! 🫶🏾 This is a no-judgment zone. Come as you are, and leave a little lighter. A new way to get 1% better. Yes, you need this. And yes, we're doing this. 💥
