Pack Thanksgiving meals for Abram Simon Elementary families in Anacostia, as well as shelters and pantries across D.C. and Maryland. This year, you can help by: Donating a bag through the TOV Fund. ($50 covers all the fixin’s plus a gift card for the main course). Bringing your own bag ( SEE INGREDIENT LIST ). Drop off at JBSC by Friday, November 21 or at Temple on Sunday, November 23. Making beaded bracelets to send to Or Hadash, our twin congregation in Haifa, Israel Roll packs of underwear to go to children living in poverty — Undies for Everyone Decorate Thanksgiving cards Make turkey sandwiches Bake cranberry muffins Make trail mix Hunger Project (already included on registration) Religious School families are invited to a free pizza lunch at Temple from 12:00-1:00 pm.
