Continuals / Via Ferrata / Devin Ocampo & Jerry Busher
Mon, Oct 26 · 7:00 PM Rhizome DC · Takoma
Monday October 26 * 7pm * $15-20 * TICKETS Continuals (DC) are four human friends who have been in a bunch of other bands before this one. Darren plays drums. Michael plays bass. Melissa sings and plays keyboards, and Ryan plays guitar and "sings." Latest music recorded by J Robbins (Jawbox) at Magpie Cage Recording Studios in Baltimore. Loud, melodic, friendly, tough. Via Ferrata (Kalamazoo, MI) is an experimental duo on the road from western Michigan. Haunting sounds emanating from skittering live drums and warm electronics will entrance the room. Devin Ocampo & Jerry Busher (DC) are longtime DC musicians (of bands as varied as Faraquet, Medications, The Effects, French Toast, the All-Scars, and Shadow Riot). Their new record, Lonely Woman, was just released on Dischord Records.
