Best known for her acclaimed NPR feature documenting D.C.’s street riding traditions, Dwyer uses her lens to bridge the gap in understanding between local communities and the public, directly challenging stereotypes surrounding urban youth. Through her intimate documentary photography, she reframes bike life as a powerful form of creative expression, mental health sanctuary, and community-led advocacy—amplifying local movements like "Bikes Up, Guns Down" and preserving the living history of D.C.’s neighborhoods. Wheelie Wayne is a legendary Baltimore stunt rider, cultural advocate, and pioneer of the city’s "12 O’Clock" bike life movement. Internationally recognized for his signature vertical wheelies and viral urban stunts, Wayne brought authentic street riding culture to global audiences through Hollywood stunt work—including Charm City Kings and Bad Boys for Life —as well as high-profile collaborations with artists like Fetty Wap. Beyond the bike, he is a leading public voice for the bike life community, advocating for legal dirt bike parks to give urban youth a safe space to channel their talent, energy, and passion off city streets.
