ELECTION NIGHT WATCH PARTY @ Teddy & The Bully Bar
Tue, Nov 3 · 3:00 PM
However the midterms shake out, you can find out with a smashburger in your hand. Teddy & The Bully Bar is throwing a free election night watch party on Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 3 to 10 p.m. at 1200 19th Street NW. The results will be on four large screens, and the specials run all night. The election night menu includes $8 oyster shooters, $8 NYC Mules, $4 New York-style hot dogs, a $9.99 Angus beef smashburger, $5 soft pretzels with house-made beer cheese and $8 funnel cake with raspberry coulis and powdered sugar. More specials will be announced before the big night. From 6 to 8 p.m., a Teddy Roosevelt impersonator will be in the house. Grab a photo with him in the photo booth. He has no concession speech to prepare, so he has time for you. Free Teddy T-shirts go out while supplies last. “Election night is long, and nobody should spend it alone refreshing a results page,” said Alan Popovsky, owner of Teddy & The Bully Bar. “Come make your picks, get a picture with Teddy and see how your map holds up. If your candidate loses, at least the hot dogs are four bucks.” Admission is free, and guests of all ages are welcome. You must be 21 or older to drink.
