Sat, Oct 10 · 2:30 PM 1333 Massachusetts Ave SE · Capitol Hill
Make Porch #15 your destination for the inaugural Capitol Hill Porchfest! First off is TRÁNSITO - bilingual rock cover artists extraordinares. They bring you screamable classics with biting social commentary from across the rock spectrum. Fans of grunge, psychedelia, and new wave alike (whether in English or Spanish) will leave satisfied. Shortly after is PROJECT SBK - disciples of alt rock that feature layered vocals, keyboard grooves, and soaring guitar licks. Driving originals flank covers from some of rock’s most prescient artists. The grand finale is MADIE CENTENARI - a singer/songwriter on the rise who will bring things to a classy close with gentle but powerful vocals and catchy melodies. Come catch all three artists or seek them out as you make your way across this day-long celebration of DC’s growing music scene.
