Explore the World (at the Northeast Library)!

Thu, Nov 12 · 6:30 PM Northeast Neighborhood Library

Join Michael Martin, author of AMC’s Best Backpacking in the Mid-Atlantic and AMC’s Best Day Hikes in the Shenandoah Valley , as he describes a two week ramble on Brittany’s GR 34. Known as the Sentier des Douaniers, or the Custom Officers Path, the GR 34 follows France’s northwest coast for about 2,000 kilometers and offers nearly inexhaustible views of the Atlantic coastline. Voted France’s most popular long distance hiking path, the GR 34 is also relatively unknown to American hikers and offers a different destination in the most touristed nation in the world.

Welcome to AskAlice

Hi, I'm Alice.

I go out a lot around DC, Virginia and Maryland, and I got tired of losing hours to Instagram Stories and a dozen venue calendars just to find out what was happening. So I built this to do that watching for me — real, confirmed events pulled from hundreds of sources, sorted so you can find your night instead of hunting for it.
