Jan. Washington, DC (ages 8-13) No Pointe - TWSB 2027 Summer Intensive Audition Tour

Washington, DC auditions held at The Washington School of Ballet Main Building located at 3515 Wisconsin Ave, 20016 Check-in: 2:45-3:15pm | Class: 3:15-4:45pm Advance registration is required for all in-person auditions at The Washington Ballet and walk-up registration will not be accepted. No need to bring a physical photo to the audition. Please upload a headshot to your profile when registering. All students auditioning for TWSB programs will be placed by ability and readiness for the TWSB syllabus. Dancers 12+ should have a minimum of 2-4 years of ballet training and Intermediate pointe work or have had 1-2 years of pointe. Attire Women wear ballet shoes, a leotard, tights, and bring pointe shoes. No skirts or distracting embellishments. Men wear black tights, a white t-shirt, and black or white shoes. Please remove all jewelry and be certain that the dancer’s hair is pulled away from their face and secured, preferably in a bun for women. Scholarships Merit scholarships for The Washington School of Ballet’s Summer Programs may be awarded to students during the Summer Intensive tour. Scholarships are extremely competitive, and students must maintain a minimum of an 80% attendance rate, participate in program-related events, and uphold the conduct and behavior standards of TWSB. If you do not register for the Summer Intensive by the deadline, your Scholarship will be re-assigned to another dancer and will not be available for your use.
