David Thong is a Northern Virginia–based musician whose sound blends classic power pop influences from The Beatles, Weezer, Matthew Sweet, and Billy Joel with soulful storytelling and infectious melodies. Originally from New York, his warm, melodic style—often compared to Jack Johnson and John Mayer—delivers music that resonates across generations. He has shared the stage with Weezer, Ryan Cabrera, Ash, and Ballyhoo!, and has performed both solo and with his band at notable East Coast venues including The Fillmore, Jammin’ Java, Union Stage, The Black Cat, The National, and CBGB, as well as major sports venues such as Nationals Park and FedExField
