World on a Plate Guest Lecture Series: Alina Potts
Tue, Nov 10 · 4:10 PM Phillips Hall
B156. World on A Plate, a class designed by world-renowned chef and humanitarian José Andrés, is an exploration of the many ways in which food and society interact. In this course and expanded guest lecture series, we invite you to think deeply about food in its many different roles – as a critical factor in public health, as an industry, as a science, as the medium of the craft of cooking, and as a political instrument. Join Alina Potts, Research Scientist for GW's Global Women's Institute and Principal Investigator of the Empowered Aid project, for this lecture. RSVP here.
