Research Seminar

Sat, Oct 3 · 8:00 PM GHI Washington · Dupont Circle

The GHI Research Seminar offers a biweekly forum for scholars to present and discuss their ongoing research. This session features Danielle Wiggins from Georgetown University, who will lead a discussion on "Does Civil Rights Include Energy? Race and the Politics of Energy Abundance in the 1970s." This seminar brings together international researchers, D.C. scholars, and GHI research fellows to foster intellectual exchange across a wide range of historical problems, epochs, and methods. Discussions are based on either project presentations or unpublished, pre-circulated papers. The seminar takes place at GHI Washington, located at 1607 New Hampshire Ave NW, Washington, DC 20009. If you wish to attend or present your work in progress, please write to Andreas Greiner at [email protected]. You can also RSVP via the provided link.

Welcome to AskAlice

Hi, I'm Alice.

I go out a lot around DC, Virginia and Maryland, and I got tired of losing hours to Instagram Stories and a dozen venue calendars just to find out what was happening. So I built this to do that watching for me — real, confirmed events pulled from hundreds of sources, sorted so you can find your night instead of hunting for it.
