Join us for the Opening Celebration of "Against all Odds", an exhibition at The DC Arts Center featuring Life Pieces To Masterpieces Opening Celebration for Against All Odds Curated by Minami Hofmann Work by Life Pieces To Masterpieces Be among the first to experience the latest exhibition on display at The DC Arts Center and meet the exhibition’s curator and featured artists! Against All Odds , a collection of acrylic-painted textile collages, represents a body of work spanning over 30 years by Black and Brown boys from Washington, DC’s most under-served neighborhoods. The collaborative paintings are created within the organization Life Pieces To Masterpieces, a program that started with seven children creating artwork together and now serves over 120 boys from DC’s Wards 7 and 8.
