Edible DC Salon Series: Cook & Gather
Thu, Oct 22 · 7:00 PM Hill’s Kitchen · Eastern Market
Get hands-on with an EdibleDC-inspired cooking class at Hill’s Kitchen! Join EdibleDC, Hill’s Kitchen, and Moon Valley Farm for the next installment of the EdibleDC Salon Series —an intimate, hands-on cooking class dedicated to capturing the flavors of late fall before the season slips away. Hosted and taught at Hill’s Kitchen, this interactive workshop explores traditional preservation techniques from food cultures around the world, putting them to work with organic Moon Valley Farm’s late-fall harvest. Together, we’ll transform the season’s abundance into flavorful preserves and pantry staples designed to carry you through the winter. You’ll learn practical techniques, get hands-on with the process, and leave with new skills—and a jars of your own to take home. Because the best way to make the most of a generous harvest is to make it last. Come cook, preserve, and savor the season with us. October 22, 7-9p
