The Art of Living With Art

Wed, Oct 28 · 6:00 PM Addison Ripley · Georgetown

Develop Your Eye. Discover What You Love. Make Art Part of the Way You Live. Falling for a painting is the easy part. It’s what comes next that gets complicated. Will it work over the sofa? Is it too big, too bold, too unlike everything else in the room? Do I really love it—or do I need to know more before I trust that feeling? That hesitation keeps a lot of great art on the gallery wall. Maybe you’re considering your first original piece. Maybe you’ve collected for years, and a few favorites are still leaning against a wall, waiting to find their place. The Art of Living with Art is about what happens next. Choose with Confidence. Collect with Curiosity. Make it Personal. Meet at 1670 Wisconsin Ave NW at 6:00 PM to start your evening with light fare and drinks. The first event will begin at 6:15 PM. More details are listed below.

Welcome to AskAlice

Hi, I'm Alice.

I go out a lot around DC, Virginia and Maryland, and I got tired of losing hours to Instagram Stories and a dozen venue calendars just to find out what was happening. So I built this to do that watching for me — real, confirmed events pulled from hundreds of sources, sorted so you can find your night instead of hunting for it.
