Emerging from Rome’s rave scene in the early 1990s, he was shaped by the city’s pioneering techno movement, pirate radio, warehouses, and soundsystem culture. In 1993, he launched the influential Virus radio show, which quickly grew into a wider movement encompassing parties, a booking agency, and a record shop. He released his debut EP, Control, through ACV in 1994, followed by the acclaimed 1995 album Rage Of Age, a dark, abrasive fusion of Chicago acid and rock that captured the spirit of Rome’s underground scene. After stepping away from DJing, Freddy K focused on supporting the next generation of artists and strengthening the techno community from behind the scenes. He helped establish the influential Elettronica Romana label, which released early work by artists including Donato Dozzy and Giorgio Gigli, and launched K1971, a label management enterprise dedicated to supporting emerging projects. Following his move to Berlin in 2009, he founded KEY Vinyl in 2011, building a label centered on vinyl culture and DJ-focused techno while championing artists such as PVS and Héctor Oaks. Freddy K’s move to Berlin also reignited his passion for rave culture, leading to legendary marathon sets at Homopatik and Berghain. Known for playing exclusively vinyl, his performances can stretch 10 to 16 hours, blending relentless techno with unexpected selections that reflect his wide-ranging musical influences. His dynamic, dancefloor-focused approach embodies a deep respect for rave culture, vinyl, and the communal energy of the club, cementing his reputation as both a formidable selector and a devoted advocate for underground techno. // Club Level // Freddy K (KEY Vinyl | Berlin) Frank Anderson b2b dimneonsum _________________________________ ⠶⠶⠶⠶⠶ Flash Safe Space Policy ⠶⠶⠶⠶⠶…
