Profile Noire: 7th Anniversary Artist Talk is a celebration of seven years of this iconic photographic exhibit featuring 100 Black women. Profile Noire: 7th Anniversary Artist Talk: In partnership with the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Xi Omega Chapter, Rhonisha Dione will celebrate seven years of Profile Noire and its ongoing exploration of Black women's self-perception, power, and identity through portraiture. The artist talk will reflect on the project’s evolution from its 2019 debut to its present and future forms. Rhonisha will offer insight into the creative process, the women who have shaped the work, and the personal and cultural questions that continue to guide its expansion. This gathering is an opportunity to honor the legacy of Profile Noire while imagining what comes next.
