Get ready for a fun Salsa and Latin evening of rhythm, connection, and high-energy dancing! Whether you’re a first-timer on the dance floor or a seasoned salsero, this is the ultimate place to cut loose and soak up the city’s best Latin vibes! The night will start with a Salsa lesson for everyone, then the social dance kicks off right after that. We’ll kick off the night with a lively, beginner-friendly salsa lesson – taught by the talented Mario Cervates – to get everyone grooving and comfortable with the basics. 9:00 PM – 12AM | Salsa & Latin Social Dance begins: After the lesson, the floor is yours! Our guest DJ Lidius Juarez will be spinning an irresistible mix of Salsa, Bachata and Latin music to keep you dancing until midnight. Facing the front entrance of the church, take the walkway to the left side of the building and down the stairway leading to DanceSport Dupont in the basement social hall.. (or follow the ‘dance class’ yard sighs to the entrance.) Free street parking is available after 6:30pm, and there is a small lot at our driveway, and additional parking at the church, also free. Church parking lot is on the right. PLUS, Free adjacent Embassy Row parking all day Saturday and Sunday and all weekdays after rush hour (including Mass Ave, north on 22 to S St, plus R & S St.) Vibe: Social, energetic, and welcoming.
