American Legion Soup Cookoff

Amateur chefs are being sought for the Purcellville American Legion Auxiliary's Annual Soup Cookoff on Saturday, October 3 from 2 to 6 p.m. Slots are still available for all those wannabe chefs who would like to enjoy a fall afternoon earning bragging rights for the best soup in Loudoun County. If you have a secret family recipe for chicken soup or some other delicious concoction in a bowl then it is time to share it with the community at this fun, charity event. Looks good. This fundraiser will help fund scholarships and the annual Boys/girls state programs.
