Amanda Hagerman Jewelry (3259 Prospect Street NW) is celebrating its first year in Georgetown with a new capsule collection, Ladies of Georgetown. The one-of-a-kind 18K gold jewels are inspired by six extraordinary women who called Georgetown home, including Julia Child, Elizabeth Taylor, Evangeline Bruce, Lorraine Cooper, and The Peters Sisters. Jamie Peva, a Georgetown resident, realtor, and local history enthusiast, helped Amanda bring the stories behind the collection to life. Each piece in the capsule offers a glimpse into one woman’s story and a connection to modern Georgetown. The pieces are on display throughout October and available for purchase.
