DC Audition | Ages 11-25

AUDITION FORMAT & DRESS The audition consists of a ballet class, LINES repertoire, and guided movement exploration. Wear form-fitting dancewear and style hair neatly away from your face. Most students wear a leotard and tights or shorts, but there is no restriction on color or style. Pointe work is not required at the audition. SUMMER PROGRAM Alonzo King LINES Ballet | Summer Programs are designed for aspiring artists ages 11–25 and offer a unified approach to dance, combining artistic growth and technical training—rooted in the philosophy of Alonzo King. Dancers are guided on a collaborative journey that takes the foundation of ballet, contemporary, and modern dance and builds on the artistic values of creativity, risk-taking, independent thinking, problem solving, and exploration. Pre-Professional Program | June 7-26 | Ages 18-25 Advanced Program | July 12 - 31 | Ages 14-17 Junior Program | June 28 - July 2 & July 5-9 | Ages 11-14
