She helped build DC's cannabis industry. Now help save her legacy. Join us October 30 to support Anacostia Organics. SAVE ANACOSTIA ORGANICS A Community Fundraiser Honoring Linda Green Your green has a mom. She helped build the industry. Now it's our turn to help save her business. For years, Linda Green has dedicated her time, energy, and voice to helping shape Washington, DC's cannabis industry. From advocacy and lobbying to supporting the movement toward legalization, Linda has worked to create opportunities and open doors for others. Today, she and her daughter are fighting to keep those same doors open at their own business, Anacostia Organics . Located in the heart of Anacostia, Anacostia Organics is more than a dispensary. It's a Black-owned, woman-owned, family-operated business built on perseverance, community, and a commitment to an industry Linda helped champion. Now, this mother-daughter team needs our help. THE MISSION: RAISE $40,000 Anacostia Organics is facing a critical financial challenge that threatens its future. Our mission is to bring together the DC community, business leaders, entrepreneurs, advocates, and supporters to help raise $40,000 and give this business a fighting chance. On Friday, October 30 , we're coming together at Anacostia Organics for a special community fundraising event dedicated to supporting Linda Green and her daughter. This evening is about more than raising money. It's about recognizing the people who helped pave the way, protecting local businesses, and showing what can happen when a community stands together. WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS Linda Green has spent years advocating for opportunities in an industry that has experienced tremendous growth and change. Now, at a time when her own business needs support, we have an opportunity to stand behind someone who has worked to make a difference. Every ticket purchased, donation made, and person who shares this event helps bring us one step closer to our $40,000 goal. HOW YOU CAN HELP ❤️ Purchase a Ticket: Attend the fundraiser and help support Anacostia Organics. 🤝 Become a Supporter: Make an additional contribution toward the fundraising goal. 📢 Spread the Word: Share this event with your friends, family, colleagues, and community. 🏢 Get Involved: We welcome local businesses, community organizations, and individuals interested in supporting this effort. LET'S SHOW UP FOR LINDA! This is our opportunity to come together, celebrate a local trailblazer, and help preserve a family-owned business in Washington, DC. She fought to create opportunities for others. Now let's help protect what she built. 📍 Anacostia Organics | Washington, DC 📅 Friday, October 30, 2026 🎯 Fundraising Goal: $40,000 Be part of the movement. Help Save Anacostia Organics.

Welcome to AskAlice

Hi, I'm Alice.

I go out a lot around DC, Virginia and Maryland, and I got tired of losing hours to Instagram Stories and a dozen venue calendars just to find out what was happening. So I built this to do that watching for me — real, confirmed events pulled from hundreds of sources, sorted so you can find your night instead of hunting for it.
